ISLAMABAD - British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Adam McClure Thomson, called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf at the Prime Minister’s House on Thursday and discussed bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest between both the countries.

The British HC congratulated the Prime Minister on the assumption of the office of the Prime Minister and said that Britain and Pakistan enjoy close relationship.

The Prime Minister recalled his meeting with his British counterpart David Cameron during his visit to Kabul and termed it useful and constructive.

The PM said that Pakistan is keen to further develop its relationship with Britain with whom we have historical and close relationship.

The Prime Minister congratulated the British High Commissioner for successfully holding London Olympics 2012.
