Mirpur was echoed with ‘Kashmir Baney Ga Pakistan ‘ slogans at a massive rally taken out to mark the Independence Day of India as a black day to reiterate Kashmiris’ hatred with and dissociation from India.

The rally was hosted by PML-N AJK leader Dr Amin Chaudhry and its students wing. The rally, held late Saturday, passed through major city streets including Shaheed Chowk, Mian Muhammad Road, Press Club Road, Allama Ibqal Road and turned into a major congregation at the Shaheed Chowk.

Addressing the rally, speakers including Dr Amin, Shujah Haider Lodhi, MSF leader Waasif Amin, Amin Chohan and Shakeel Tahir reiterated the Kashmiris’ firm pledge to utilise all the resources and energy to bring the freedom struggle to its logical end through translating the idea of accession of entire Jammu & Kashmir state to Pakistan.

The speakers said that Pakistan is incomplete without its jugular vein - Kashmir. The Kashmiris’ fight for freedom is in fact the struggle for completion of Pakistan through making entire Jammu & Kashmir state part of Pakistan, the ultimate destination of 16 million people of the internationally acknowledged disputed state, they added.

Seeking early peaceful solution to the Kashmir issue, the speakers called for early resumption of resulted-oriented talks between Pakistan and India to reach an early settlement of the lingering conflict.

They opined that the resumption of the meaningful dialogue process could prove to be an affective step forward to reach the settlement of all the long-standing differences especially Kashmir problem in line with the aspirations of the people of Jammu & Kashmir and under the spirit of the international norms.

They said that India could not further escape from the settlement of Kashmir issue. They said New Delhi should bow before the wishes of the people of Jammu & Kashmir who do not want to stay with India even for a moment. The ongoing momentous struggle by the valiant people in Indian held Kashmir for the liberation of the motherland from the India was the ample proof of the fact, they added.

They strongly condemned the increased human rights abuses by the Indian occupation forces in the Indian-held Kashmir. They called upon the international community to take immediate notice of the fast deteriorating situation in occupied Kashmir where India has unleashed the massacre of the innocent Kashmiris who are fighting against the forcible and unlawful Indian rule.

They recalled that the Jammu & Kashmir people launched the struggle under the spirit of the resolution for the liberation of their motherland from the yoke of Dogra regime and later from the unlawful and forcible Indian rule. The freedom struggle is continuing with full vigour for the last 68 years.
