If my memory serves me correctly, I distinctly remember Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani making a policy statement on his taking over the reins of the government that he would take notice of the performance of his cabinet ministers every three months and that anyone not performing up to the task would be relieved of the responsibilities. How dreadfully efficacious has been the warning that during all these three long years the honourable ministers of his cabinet have not only been on their toes but also served the nation day and night to the best of their abilities so assiduously, diligently and selflessly that the PM could find no reason what so ever to fire anyone for incompetence?
