Mian Nawaz Sharif would be very nave if he believes thatmere verbal acceptance of his 10-points by the prime minister, means that these points would be implemented. The record of PPP is replete with broken promises and foot-dragging and unwillingness to make reforms of any kind. The same is going to happen now. Only Mian Nawaz Sharif would put his credibility at stake as the PPP will conveniently put all the blame for non-implementation on him. Nothing is going to happen in these 45 days. The PPP is just buying time and at the end of this period, we will be at square one once again, or even worse off. Dr Zaheer Asghar Khan, Lahore, January 15.
