ISLAMABAD - PML-Q (Likeminded) will not allow anyone to violate the rights of people of Balochistan and do corruption in the world's fifth largest gold and copper reservoirs in Reko Diq. This was stated by President of PML-Q (Likeminded) and Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs Senator Salim Saifullah Khan in a press release issued here on Sunday. "This would be our misfortune, if the government doesn't take benefit from the services of scientists like Dr Samar Mubarakmand", he added. He said according to Dr Samar Mubarak, Pakistan could earn annually two billion dollars if the exploration work of gold in Reko Diq is given to Pakistani company. He said," Pakistan is a rich country but unfortunately the rulers have put the national interests at stake due to their personal interests." Change in vision was the only way out to change the destiny of nation, he added. Salim Saifullah said, "Pakistan could not be prosperous and strong until we eradicate corruption, poverty, unemployment, terrorism, price-hike, promote good governance and democratic norms in our institutions, construct Kala Bagh and other similar types of projects to resolve energy crisis, preserve integrity of our country and reform our foreign policy." He stressed that if Kalabagh Dam and similar types of dams are constructed, the surplus water that went waste and fall into Arabian Sea could be preserved for the benefit of the country and resolve energy crisis.
