ISLAMABAD - National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) crushed PTV by an innings and 53 runs in the President’s Trophy Grade-I (2013-2014) 10th round match here at Pindi Stadium on Thursday. Earlier, PTV resumed their second innings at the overnight score of 96 for the loss of one wicket in 28 overs and were bundled out for 219 in 72.3 overs. Nawaz Ahmed played brilliantly and scored 85 runs in 170 hitting 12 boundaries. Fahadul Haq also batted well for his 42 and M Sami added 20 runs, but their efforts too low to save their team from receiving a heavy defeat of an innings and 53 runs in the hands of NBP. Ahmed Jamal bowled brilliantly and clinched six wickets conceding only 42 runs while Ataullah grabbed three wickets for 36. Earlier, NBP declared their first innings at 397-7 wickets.–Staff Reporter
