PESHAWAR - A two-day Frontier Corps (FC) Commandants Conference was held here to review security along the Pak-Afghan border and discuss law and order situation in FATA.

The conference was held at the Headquarters Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at Fort Balahisar Fort.

Inspector General Frontier Corps, Major General Muhammad Tayyab Azam, presided over the conference. The last session of the conference was also attended by Corps Commander 11 Corps Lt. Gen. Hiadayat-ur-Rehman.

The conference reviewed the operational preparedness, professional and administrative matters, standard of training of soldiers’ security along the Pak-Afghan border and law and order situation in FATA.

Addressing the conference, the Commander 11 Corps appreciated the sacrifices of Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and directed all the participants to leave no stone unturned in combating terrorism and bring peace to FATA and KP.

In his concluding remarks, Inspector General FC KP Major General Tayyab Azam reiterated the pledge of Frontier Corps that to render every sacrifice to uproot the menace of terrorism from their area.
