Afghan police has handed over five of 40 soldiers of the paramilitary Frontier Corps (FC) to Pakistani officials that have been missing for the past two days in Mohmand tribal region, reported a private TV channel. The channel quoted DG ISPR Maj. Gen Athar Abbas as saying that that 40 FC soldiers have been missing after Afghan militants on Monday had attacked police check post located between Mohmand and Bajaur Agency. "Five of 40 FC soldiers have reached Pakistani consulate in Jalalabad," Athar Abbas said. Afghan police has handed over five FC soldiers to Pakistani officials while 35 are still missing, sources said.
