The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) has authorised TNS Beaconhouse to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) to students in Lahore. TNS is now the first school in Lahore to get this authorization. Three other schools in Pakistan are authorized to offer the IBDP programme – two in Islamabad and one in Karachi.

The IBDP is an academically challenging and balanced programme of education with final examinations that prepares students, aged 16 to 19, for success at university and life beyond. It has been designed to address the intellectual, social, emotional and physical well-being of students. The IB currently works with 3,777 schools in 147 countries, enriching the lives of over 1,181,000 students. Due to its unique approach, IBDP has gained recognition and respect from the world’s leading universities.

Head of TNS, Clive Barnes said, “TNS Beaconhouse becomes Lahore's first-ever IBO World School offering both the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP). The rigorous and lengthy IB authorisation process marks TNS as a truly international and quality school in terms of its facilities, faculty and the opportunities it gives its students to become global thinkers, learners and citizens ready to assume their place in our 21st century world.”
