During this week fourteen children have died in drought-hit Thar, with the number of children dying constantly increasing in the district because of malnutrition and other causes since last year.

According to a report, 496 children have died in this year and 982 children are in serious condition.

It is painful to quote this because children are the future of a nation, but their lives is not being valued and we are just focusing on mega-projects.

It is my humble request to the Government of Sindh to provide food and shelter to Thar’s poor people, who are dying everyday, and give them facilities of health in order to save their lives.
