NAWABSHAH -  Pre-entry test for admission to different departments of Quid-e-Awam University of Engineering Science and Technology (QUEST) and its Larkana Campus held here on Sunday.

As many as 6102 candidates including 373 female candidates appeared at the entry test for 1033 seats for departments of Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer System, Electronics, Telecommunication, Energy Environment, Chemical, Computer Science, Information Technology and Mathematics for Batch 2016.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Baloch and Chairman Admission Prof Dr Saleem Raza Samo supervised the process of entry test. Briefing the media VC Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Baloch and Dr. Saleem Raza Samo informed that for 1033 seats in different departments of QUEST 6262 intending candidates obtained forms for entry test out of which 55 forms were rejected while 6102 forms were accepted.

They said that 125 blocks were set up for candidates on which 500 employees discharged surveillance duty while 500 police and rangers personnel were deputed for security.

They said that university has its own examination system. They said that entry test result would be announced the same evening while general merit list of the successful candidates would be announced on October 28.

They said that interviews were scheduled from November 7 to November 9, 2016 and classes would commence from December 12, 2016.
