OUR STAFF REPORTER KARACHI Orangi Star Cricket Club beat Northern Gymkhana by 42 runs in the inaugural match of the KCCA Zone VI Dawood Khan Memorial Cricket Tournament played at KCCA stadium here the other day. Batting first Orangi Star Cricket Club scored 206 for all out in 40 overs, M Mehtab (42), M Farhan (34),Adil Ali (25) made good contributions. J Ishaq, Arshad Ullah,Ibad Ullah took 2 wickets each. In reply Northern Gymkhana were bowled out for 164 in 34.4 overs, Shahzad (34),Rameez (34), Ibad Ullah (20) batted well, M Abid (OB) captured 4 wickets for 20 runs, M Adnan 2/27. Before start of the match Chief Guest Basalat Mirza Inaugurated the tournament, Azam Khan member KCCA Executive Council, Ejaz Khan Secretary KCCA Zone VI, Haider Ali Sanam Treasure KCCA Zone VI were present on the occasion.
