Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif reached Beijing on Monday along with 20-member delegation including Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah, Senator Pervaiz Rasheed, parliamentarians, senators, investors and industrialists. At the Beijing Capital International Airport, the chief minister and his delegation was received by Minister/Deputy Chief of the Mission at Pakistan Embassy, Muhammad Hassan and senior diplomats. The Director General of Bureau of International Department of Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Zhang Xuyi also welcomed the chief minister and members of his delegation on behalf of CPC. Talking to media persons here at the airport, Punjab government spokesman senator Pervaiz Rasheed said that they were visiting China on invitation of Communist Party of China. He pointed out what we had seen in China in the past, now it is transformed into more developed country. He said that being a close friend of China, Pakistan wishes that this country should continue to make further development in all spheres of life. He said that talks would be held during the chief ministers visit for cooperation in various sectors including transport, roads and hydro power.
