ISLAMABAD - Showing all-round skills and superior technique, Punjab swimmers won the title of Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Inter-provincial U-14 Swimming Championship here on Wednesday.  Punjab swimmers struck unmatched performance and created another four national records in 50 metres freestyle, 50 metres back stroke and 50 metres butterfly on the final day, thus making seven national records during the three-day meet.  Punjab’s M Rizwan after gaining 100 points was declared the best and fastest swimmer of the event and received Rs 10,000 from chief guest Commissioner Islamabad Tariq Perzada. Punjab’s record setters were M Rizwan and M Hamza.  Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 96 points was placed second while Islamabad with 64 points took the third places. Balochistan 28 and FATA two were fourth and fifth respectively. – Staff Reporter
