The University of Sargodha (UoS) has approved the establishment of its four more campuses under the public-private partnership. These campuses will be established in Faisalabad, Gujranwala and Mandi Bahauddin.

A ceremony to sign MoUs for the UOS campuses was held here at the university which was attended by Vice Chancellor Dr Mohammad Akram Chaudhry, Registrar Brig (r) Rao Jamil Asghar, the Chief Executive and Directors of the UoS campuses. The Comprehensive Educational Welfare Society Mandi Bahauddin, MA Jinnah Educational Society Faisalabad, Loyallpur Educational Foundation Faisalabad and Gujranwala Commerce Society Gujranwala signed the MoUs with the UoS.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Mohammad Akram Chaudhry said that the objective of higher education was to provide honourable source of employment to students vis-a-vis make them responsible citizens of society. The education was the profession of the prophets, that’s why the teachers ought to bring up the new generation with courage and self-confidence,” expressed Dr Akram Ch and added that the UoS was one of the best universities administering so many campuses.

Registrar Brig (r) Rao Jamil Asghar said that the new campuses should concentrate on the educational and innovative vision of the VC and follow the market-oriented research model of the main campus of UoS.
