LAHORE - Punjab Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah has said that the people are leaving Chaudhary Brothers as they are fed-up with their politics of loot and personal interest.

“Chaudhary Brothers should be ready to bear further shocks as the process will continue”, he remarked while commenting on the statement of Pervaiz Elahi.

The law minister said that Punjab had been presenting the scene of graveyard of development projects during Pervaiz Elahi’s era and Pervaiz Elahi and sons filled their pockets from public exchequer in the name of development projects.

He said that Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif had set a high standard of good governance and transparency in the province, a fact, also acknowledged by international institutions. Sanaullah remarked that powerless Deputy Prime Minister had lost his creditability by leveling baseless and concocted allegations and now no one was ready to believe his lies.

He said that due to the round-the-clock efforts and continuous monitoring by Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Metro Bus project had been completed in a record period of eleven months at a cost of Rs.30 billion.

“Had this project been prepared by Pervaiz Elahi its cost would certainly had been more than one hundred billion rupees and like other projects of Pervaiz Elahi, there would be no limit of completion period”, he further observed.
