KARACHI - The Divisional Bench of Sindh High Court Thursday stayed the new recruitment in Sindh Tourism and Culture Department in place of sacked employees. As per detail, the divisional bench comprises of Justice Ms Qaisar Iqbal and Justice Mr Khawaja Naveed has adjourned the court till 23rd July, and took stay-order for the new recruitment at the places of the all sacked employees. The 27 sacked employees of the said department had submitted the petition against their dismissing order issued by the provincial government in the last month. The applicants submitted that they had been recruited on merit but the present provincial government without any reason had sacked them illegally. It must be mentioned here that the government declared the all recruitments done by the caretaker government as illegal, while Sindh CM issued directives to all the provincial ministries to sack all the employees who were recruited in caretaker regime. Around one hundred employees had been sacked from the said department they were recruited from grade one to fifteen, in which 27 sacked employed approached to the court.
