KINGSTOWN (Cricinco) - West Indies were pegged back by the Bangladesh spinners after a promising start led by Dale Richards. The openers, Richards and Omar Phillips, added 60 in quick time, getting boundaries at ease and attacking the spinners at every available opportunity. However, the spin twins who were the architects of Bangladesh's win in the first Test, struck again to even out proceedings by lunch. Phillips miscued a heave to deep midwicket off Shakib Al Hasan, and Mahmudullah dismissed Richards and Ryan Hinds in a space of three deliveries to dent a strong start by the hosts in overcast conditions in Grenada. Toss On a damp pitch that delayed the start by 30 minutes, Shakib Al Hasan - making his debut as captain - chose to field in the second Test against West Indies in Grenada. West Indies have bolstered their batting by replacing the left-arm spinner Nikita Miller with Ryan Hinds, who last played a Test in March, and Bangladesh have brought in Enamul Haque jr for the injured Mashrafe Mortaza. The delayed start means there will be an extended second session. Scattered afternoon showers are forecast through the five days, however. SCOREBOARD WEST INDIES 1st Innings D.
