Residents accuse SHO of power abuse: Hundreds of villagers protested outside the DPO office against the Saddr Police SHO for registration of a fake case to show his so-called progress here the other day.

They demanded the suspension of the SHO and a fair inquiry against him.

According to detail, the residents of nearby villages including Khadanwala, Budda, Kot Ameer Ali, Aabianwala and Ladoana alleged that three days ago Nankana Saddr Police SHO arrested dozens of poor labour on pretext of action against liquor suppliers and illegal weapons.

They blamed that SHO was abusing his powers without any justification and creating problems for the poor people to show so-called performance in front of the DPO and the RPO.

They alleged that the SHO was appointed on the special approach by the some influential political figures of the area.

On the other hand, the Saddr Police SHO said that the crackdown on drug pushers was carried out on the instructions of the high command.
