Law minister of Punjab, Rana Sanaullah has welcomed the reopening of references against Sharif brothers, terming the allegations leveled by opposition baseless. Talking to media-men Wednesday outside Punjab Assembly, he said there was no basis of the blames put on Chief Minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif, adding that reality will be revealed on floor of the house in a matter of a day or two. He said the people must know the truth about these references. Replying to a question about President Zardari, Rana Sanaullah said Asif Ali Zardari was imprisoned for 11 years in corruption and narcotics cases. He said corruption in today’s age has increased many times as compared to the past. Expressing views about Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader, Imran Khan, the provincial law minister said if he wants to go to Waziristan, he should also recover those abducted for ransom. Sanaullah said Imran Khan must have discussed the role of former DG Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), General Pasha, during his rallies. Establishment has particularized all black sheep for Imran Khan, as he demanded for it, Rana maintained. Rana Sanaullah challenged Imran Khan that if he fought elections from a constituency in Lahore, even a minor political worker of Pakistan Muslim League (N) has the guts to defeat him. To a question about Multan by-polls in NA-151, Rana Sanaullah said no candidate of PML (N) is participating in the by-elections.
