ISLAMABAD - Last Pakistani hope Nasir Iqbal crashed out of the Qatar PSA World Squash Championship 2014, after beaten by Indian Saurav Ghosal 3-1 in the second round match in Doha on Monday. Nasir started the first game on a slow pace and took time to settle down, which cost him the game 7-11. He bounced back in the second game in style and took it 11-5. It was hoped, Nasir would play his natural game and beat higher-ranked Indian player, but any hope of getting something out of the match fast faded when Saurav won the third game 11-9 after some tough resistance. The fourth game was a one-sided affair, as Nasir had no answers to Saurav's pace, strokes and drop shots and was beaten badly by 4-11. With Nasir's loss, fifth and last Pakistani representation was also faded.
