Islamabad - A decision has been taken by the federal government to take disciplinary action against former SSP (Operations) Islamabad Muhammad Ali Nekokara.

Well-placed sources said the action was being initiated against him on his refusal to comply with the government’s orders to launch action against sit-ins sponsored by Pakistan Awami Tehrik and Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf in Islamabad. On refusal for not implementing the government’s orders he was made officer on special duty (OSD). Sources said the establishment division had started proceedings against Muhammad Ali Nekokara and Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad had been appointed competent authority to nominate inquiry officer.
