ATTOCK - A student who had appeared in 8th class examination in February 2013 conducted by Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) is still waiting for his result.

Unfortunately, no one is ready to listen to him. The father of unfortunate student Osama Ahmad talking to The Nation on Friday said that non-declaration of his son's result had wasted his one precious year and even at present no school was ready to give him admission in 9th class. He said that Ahmad appeared in 8th class examination last year under roll number 61-112-192. He said he approached all the concerned authorities to get the result of his son but to no avail.

He demanded of Punjab chief minister and secretary education to take notice of this negligence and penalise responsible persons for their negligence.

This scribe tried to contact Manager (Operations) PEC on his office landline number (04299260156) but he was not available for comments.
