LAHORE PTI wave is compelling the mainstream parties to expel those party members who have plans to either join Imran Khan or any of their opponents. In one of such development, PML-Q has expelled Sardar Tufail, president PML-Q and its former MNA and ex-tehsil nazim from district Kasur. A provincial leader of PML-Q seeking anonymity told this correspondent on Sunday that the party leadership desires to control the growing wave of demoralization among the party ranks with parting ways of some leaders recently. However, when contacted Chaudhary Zaheer-ud-Din, PML-Q general secretary Punjab said that Sardar Tufail was taking interest in partys organization work for the last couple of months and despite the warnings he havent shown any interest, compelling the party leadership to expel him and elevate Malik Rasheed Ahmed, general secretary Kasur as the party president in Kasur. Sardar Tufail who was expelled from the PML-Q, would soon join the PTI, while a lot of PML-Q dissident leaders including Khursheed Mehmood Kasuri, Ishaq Khakwani, Sikander Bosan, Jamal Leghari and Awais Leghari would be joining the PTI on December 19 (today) and December 20, tomorrow in two different events. While, PML-F leader and MNA, Jehangir Khan Tareen would also be joining the PTI along with Khakwani, Bosan and Legharis. PML-Q leader said that parting ways of yet another leader would send another shock wave among party ranks and the party, while the party leadership could show the door to those who would make up their mind to leave the party. Some of the leaders of PPP and PML-N also told this scribe that their party leaderships could also follow the suit of the PML-Q to expel those who they think would leave them. They added that it could be a better strategy to expel the turncoats in advance rather to give them a chance for a better political bargain with their new masters from their old platforms. They claimed that PTI could become a force, which would be in a position in the next polls to at least replace some of the candidates of the mainstream parties. Meanwhile, famous singer and social worker, Ibrar-ul-Haq would announce joining the PTI during a press conference today.
