FAISALABAD - Five people, including two children, were burnt to death when the CNG cylinder of a passenger bus exploded in Kharianwala near Faisalabad on Sunday. The bus was going from Kharianwala to Faisalabad, when its gas cylinder burst out. Immediately, the bus caught fire, leaving five people dead and several others injured. The dead also included Nisar Bhatti and his five-year-old daughter Ayesha. The rescue teams arrived the scene and shifted the wounded to Faisalabad Allied Hospital. But, regrettably, the dead bodies were lying at the scene for quite some time as the rescue officials were unable to shift them due to lack of proper equipment as the bodies were badly mutilated. Lately, incidents of CNG cylinder explosions have been on the rise as buses, in a bid to cut down their expenses, rely on substandard CNG kits which pose a potential risk of explosions.
