The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will hear Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) petition today against the ruling of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) related to allege foreign funding.

The Chief Election Commissioner would head a five-member bench to hear the petitions, which accuses the two parties, PML-N and PPP of concealing their source of income and companies registered by them in foreign countries.

Supreme Court in its verdict last week on the petition filed against the PTI regarding similar allegations of foreign funding, said the matter would be sent back to the ECP for investigation.
