ISLAMABAD (Online) - Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Babar Ghouri has threatened to quit coalition with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in the Centre and Sindh if the decision to withdraw subsidy on electricity was not taken back. Talking to mediamen outside the Parliament House on Thursday, he said his party would also boycott the budget session of the NA and would not support the govt to get the budget passed from the house if our demand was not met. He said KESC was not obeying the agreement and had not invested $ 400m in power sector. People of Karachi are facing great inconvenience due to loadshedding and the federal govt had not taken any notice of the issue, he said. The government and KESC should fulfill their pledges which they had made with the nation, he demanded.
