ISLAMABAD: The federal government has planned to present ‘Eid-ul-Fitar’ gift to masses in the form of enhanced petroleum prices by first of July 2016.

Well places sources on Sunday revealed that prices of petroleum products are likely to be increased by Rs 4.5 litre per by next months.

In accordance with the proposal petrol is likely to witness an increase of Rs 2.60 per litre, kerosene oil Rs 3.5 per litre, Light Diesel by Rs 1.8 per litre, high speed diesel by Rs 3.2 per litre and high octane by Rs 4.5 litre.

However, final decision in this regard would be announced after approval of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
