MUZAFFARABAD - Criticising Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif once again, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan yesterday said the umpire had raised his finger and the PM would have to return to the pavilion.

Addressing a public gathering in Muzaffarabad, Khan lambasted JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, stating he was making attempts to hide the corruption of Nawaz Sharif. He also accused the prime minister of telling lies on the floor of the National Assembly, stating the offshore companies of the Sharifs were not purchased in 2005, but in 1992-93.

Imran Khan said the PM will not discuss the Kashmir issue as he is doing business with the Indians. The PTI chief also presented four points for Kashmiris’ prosperity.

He also announced that those caught misbehaving with women during the party’s public gatherings will be dealt with sternly.

During his speech, Khan also introduced a new slogan regarding the JUI-F chief. He said Maulana speaks in favour of the PM only because of the money provided to him by Nawaz Sharif.

Imran announced he would call a record-breaking rally in Faisalabad on May 20 as he addressed a public gathering in Azad Kashmir’s Muzaffarabad district.

The PTI chairman said he would ameliorate the plight of the Kashmiri people on every platform if he becomes the prime minister of Pakistan. He said, “When Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry becomes the prime minister of Azad Kashmir, he will introduce an independent accountability bureau.”

“We will strengthen the institutions and no one will dare to get involved in corruption,” he added.

Imran said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police are considered as the best. His party will also streamline the AJK police on coming tom power, he added.

The PTI chairman, while harshly criticising Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, said, “Mian Sahib is thinking he will be saved, but he is mistaken.” Imran said he was expecting the prime minister will tell the truth on the floor of the Parliament.”

“When Nawaz Sharif goes to India, he is more concerned about his business than the rights of Kashmiris,” said Imran.

The PTI chairman didn’t spare the premier’s coalition partner, JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman, and said, “Maulana’s slogan is “Raise the price, Nawaz Sharif, we are with you”.

Imran said Fazlur Rehman is trying to save Nawaz Sharif and his corruption. On the subject of the incidents related to mismanagement and mistreatment of women in PTI rallies, the party chairman said his party respects women and strict action would be taken against the troublemakers.

While asking miscreants not to come close to women in the party’s rallies, Imran Khan said a tiger force is ready for the protection of women.
