Islamabad - Grievance Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis Federal Ombudsman Secretariat Hafiz Ahsaan Ahmed Khokhar has stressed establishment of online appointment system and help line in embassies/consulates. A letter sent to Secretary Foreign Affairs of Pakistan on this subject says it is need of time that every embassy/high commission and consulate office of Pakistan may independently establish their effective online appointment system for Overseas Pakistanis in next seven days along with its monitoring and evaluation system.

regarding certain facilities /information being provided in embassies to Overseas Pakistanis.

All embassies/consulate offices are further advised to independently establish their help line along with its monitoring and evaluation system for Overseas Pakistanis in next seven days.

It is further informed that only few embassies have provided the status of complaints and fixed a day for public hearing in embassies/high commissions but majority of embassies have not done so far which is not good in public interest.

This matter is now fixed for hearing. DG NASA of Foreign office is advised to appear on 27th October 2015 along the compliance status in Federal Ombudsman Secretariat.

All action is required for submission of report in the Supreme Court.
