LAHORE - Pakistan Ulma Coucil has organised “Farooq-o-Hussain Amn Conference” to convey the message of unity, love and peace among the followers of different school of thoughts.

Council president Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi presided over the conference while Sahibzada Zahid Mahmood Qasmi, Maulana Mushtaq Lahori, Mulana Asadullah Farooq, Maulana Asadullah Farooq, Maulana Shafi Qasmi and other scholars addressed and highlighted that Islam being a religion of peace has no space for the promoters of seatrain violence among its followers.

They said the terrorism and terrorists are the enemies of Islam, country and mankind.

Hafiz Ashrafi, speaking on occasion, highlighted the steps taken by Pakistan Ulam Council for establishment of peace and harmony among various sects.

“Pakistan Ulma Council is establishing committees for reconciliation among different school of thoughts. We also established a control room to monitor law and order situation during Muharram,” he said. He extended full cooperation to prime minister of Pakistan over latter’s stand against Indian aggression in the region.

He said the people of Pakistan have scarified a lot in war against terror and now it was the responsibility of international community to stand with Pakistan over its stance on Kashmir and security of the region.
