PESHAWAR - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has said that there is no tussle among institutions in the country and efforts of those creating rift will be frustrated.

He said that testing time of Pakhtun nation is over now and far-flung and backward areas and its people are on the path of development due to indiscriminate development works in the province. He said that workers of ANP have recorded new history by rendering sacrifices for peace and democracy. He said that ANP is far ahead from other political parties on the basis of performance and services to the people. He said that founder of Khudai Khidmatgar Tehreek, Bacha Khan launched his movement by laying foundation of Madrassa and following in his footprints, they considered serving mosques and madressahs as their duty. He was addressing a gathering at Mazdoor Abad Takhtbhai, presided over by President ANP Mardan, Haji Farooq Akram Khan. General Secretary ANP PK-26 Muhammad Ayub yousufzai presented the welcome address. Other speakers on the occasion included General Secretary Imran Mandori, former Secretary Mian Tahir Advocate and Haji Mir Aslam.

The chief minister said that those creating rift among institutions in the country were disappointed and some are creating crises for personal gains. He said that entire institutions of the country were working in their respective spheres and there was no situation of rift among them.

The chief minister said that Mardan was deprived of its rights intentionally for the past 60 years but its high times to remove their deprivation by giving them their due right. He said that, “we have set an example by fulfilling our manifesto and election promises.” He said realisation of Khpla Khwra Khpal Ikhtyar has proved entire propagandas of adversaries wrong.

The chief minister said that provincial autonomy and additional resources were achieved due to efforts of ANP and present government. He said that fruits of additional resources have been extended to every nook and corner of the province. He said that the present government has for the first time introduced Bacha Khan Khpal Rozgar Scheme and Hunermand Rozgar Scheme under which interest free loans worth Rs 1 lakh and Rs 3 lakh were offered to deserving people and these schemes were ensured free of political interference and merit based implementation. He said that peace was restored in Swat due to people support and millions of affectees have returned to their homes. He said that enemies to Pakhtuns development would be defeated at all costs. He said that his relation with people was not that of a member and a voter, adding that Pakhtun Wali is a relation of brotherhood and red flag. He said that they did not believe in politics of slogans rather they believed in practice. He said that needs of people have been provided to them at their doorsteps with completion of Bacha Khan Medical College, Abdul Wali Khan University, establishment of campuses of agriculture and engineering universities, Eastern and Western Bypasses, Ring Road and other projects of road construction costing millions.

He said that completion of work on the first ever children hospital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Mardan would ensure entire treatment facilities to children. He said that adversaries have lost their sleep due to announcement and implementation on several projects.

He hoped they would be back in the ground after success in service to the people. Muhammad Ayub Yousufzai presented the welcome address. In response to welcome address, the chief minister approved Rs 30 million for reconstruction and repair of mosques and Madressahs in PK-26 and grant of Rs 50 million for different development schemes in union councils. He also approved certain other projects.
