MULTAN - The students of Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan have demanded the Vice Chancellor to appoint a medical officer in the evening shift as the students have no medical facility at the campus due to non-availability of doctor in the evening shift. Former medical officer Dr Muhammad Akram quit after developing differences with the varsity administration. Although the BZU have two medical officers, Dr Aftab Warraich and Dr Samina, both of them are available till just 1:00pm in the noon. The students lamented that they had to go to Nishtar Hospital and any other private health outlet in case of any emergency in the evening as a result of which thousands of students living in hostels were highly worried.
