HAFIZABAD - PML-Zia Chief Ejazul Haq has stressed the need for constituting Interim government through the judiciary to steer the country out of present state of affairs. He said that such interim government was inevitable for holding fair and free local bodies’ elections before the general elections. Addressing the media here, he said that the present government had given nothing but dearness, unemployment, lawlessness and loadshedding, besides promoting corruption and terrorism in the country. He strongly condemned the anti-Islam film released in the US to injure religious sentiments of the Muslims and lamented shameful silence of the Muslim rulers to take stringent measures to stop the infidels from making such blasphemous films and caricature.NEED FOR STANDARD EDUCATION STRESSED: The former director public instructions of the Punjab Examinations Commission, Muhammad Jameel Najam, has stressed the need for improving standard of education at primary level for brighten academic career of students. Addressing a seminar for promotion of primary education under the auspices of Azeem Group Publications and Private Schools Association, he said that competition between the government and private sector was appreciable. He added that improvement of education standard at primary level is prerequisite for better education at higher level.BODY FOUND: A mutilated body of about 30-year-old woman was found in a paddy field in Pipli village. Police have shifted the body to city morgue for post mortem. There are visible signs of violence on the body, hospital source said. CONVENTION: The National Bank of Pakistan Employees Union will leave no stone unturned in devising strategy for the welfare of the employees, pledged Central Secretary General of the NBEEU, Abkar Ali Khan, and Provincial President Muhammad Fiaz.
