LAHORE – TheNation Editor-in-Chief and Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust (NPT) Chairman Majid Nizami will preside over a special sitting to be held in connection with Tahaffuz-e-Namoos-e-Risalat at the Aiwan-i-Karkunan Tehrik-i-Pakistan on Wednesday (today).

The speakers include Sajjadah Nashin of Chura Sharif, Pir Syed Kabir Ali Shah, NPT Vice Chairman Prof Dr Rafique Ahmad, Justice (r) Mian Mehboob Ahmad, Jamaat-e-Islami leader Dr Farid Piracha, Markazi Amir Tehreek Minhajul Quran Faizur Rehman Durrani, JUP General Secretary Qari Zawar Buhadur, Sajjadah Nashin of Sharqpur Sharif, Pir Mian Walid Ahmad Sharqpuri and NPT Advisory Council Member Shujat Hashmi. The NPT has organised the ceremony in collaboration with the Pakistan Movement Workers Trust.

Also, Majid Nizami distributed certificates among the students of Lahore College for Women University on completion of their internship program at the Aiwan-i-Karkunan Tehreek-i-Pakistan on Tuesday.

The Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trustand the Pakistan Movement Workers Trust had jointly organised the five-week long internship programme for the Lahore College for Women University’s BS (Hons)students. Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust Vice-chairman Prof Dr Rafique Ahmad ad Prof Ahmad Saeed supervised the awareness programme.

Moreover, the students completed assignments on Pakistan Movement-related topics such as the Lahore Resolution, Khutba Allahabad and Lakhnau Pact. The students, during their internship programme, also studied books written on the Pakistan Movement.
