LAHORE The annual Christmas lunch on Sunday at the Naulakha Presbyterian Church brought together leaders and leading personalities of different religions including Muslims, Hindus, Parsi, Sikh and Bahaai communities as well as members of diplomatic mission in the City. Prominent among those who attended included Punjab Minister for Minorities Michael Kamran, MPAs Pervez Rafique and Tahir Khalil Sindhu, Rt Rev (r) Munoo Rumal Shah, Rt Rev Samuel Azariah, Executive Secretary National Council of Churches in Pakistan Victor Azriah, Chief Editor daily Pakistan Mujeebur Rehman Shami, Munawar Chand, Kanwal Feroze, educationist Priya Samuel. Speaking on the occasion, prominent personalities underlined the need for religious and social harmony. They appreciated the efforts of Rev Dr Majeed Abel for getting together people from different shades of life to celebrate Christmas at the Naulakha Church. The guests of honour cut the Christmas cake, which was shared with the members of the congregation. Another attraction at the event was Santa Claus who distributed sweets and gifts among the children.
