LAHORE National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP)joined hands with the Dawoo Pakistan for Drivers Safety Training to ensure the training of our own drivers and also the drivers fromcontractors and other organizations as well as road safety in continuation of public/private road safety project, said IG Dr. Wasim Kauser while chairing a meeting with officials of Dawoo, Pakistan. Wasim Kauser said the Dawoo will supported the motorway police in establishing thedriver training institute of its kind in Southern Punjab,featuringa driving safety training track, driver training classrooms and also a high-tech driving simulator. This has now become a point of knowledge transfer to surrounding communities, particularly for people who are professional drivers in less developed areas. The training helps them to get better road safety environment. Dr Wasim Kauser said that it was the duty of every citizen to abide by the traffic rules and follow the road safety precautionary measures to save not only their own lives but also the lives of others , to achieve the goal of safe driving and zero accident policy by keeping up with their own traditions.
