Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said MQM is and will remain ally of the ruling coalition adding if MQM has any reservation on the statement of Zulfiqar Ali Mirza, the matter will be resolved through dialogue. Chief Minister Sindh said this while talking to media men here Monday in chief minister house after agreement of signing ceremony on construction of godown for storage of wheat between Sindh government and International Finance Corporation. "When the alliance between MQM and PPP was forged, people had been predicting since then that the alliance would not stay for a longer time. However a period of two and half years have been elapsed and the remaining period will also pass but PPP and MQM would remain allies", he underlined. There are disputes and grievances between the two brothers, he said adding if MQM has any grievance about Zulfiqar Mirza statement, this will be redressed through dialogue, he stated. All the allied parties were being taken into confidence in all the decisions, he added. Responding to a question he said the matter of Zulfiqar Ali Mirza statement was not big one but the media had blown it out of proportion. Core committee forum was there for resolution of problems among the allied parties, he said adding if any matter was not settled in the core committee meeting then it was resolved after the contacts between president Asif Ali Zardari and Altaf Bhai. Dr Zulfiqar Mirza statement had been discussed at central level and this issue would also be settled, he pointed out. To another question he said that bill for restoration of magistracy system in Sindh had been worked out and the bill would soon be tabled in Sindh assembly after taking on board all the allied parties. Addressing a ceremony earlier Syed Qaim Ali Shah said Sindh had witnessed bumper wheat crop but storage facility was not available in the province . Food department of government of Sindh and international finance corporation had signed agreement for construction of godowns in connection with storage of wheat. In line with this agreement godowns would be built under public private partnership, he held. These would be monitored by IFC, he pointed out.
