LAHORE - Member parties of Tehrik Namoos-e-Risalat (TNR) would hold protest demonstrations against the rulers endeavors to amend the Blasphemy Law across the province on December 24, announced senior leader of Tehrik, Qari Zawar Bahadur. Qari Zawar, who is central secretary general of JUP made this announcement in a press briefing after chairing a meeting of the TNR at party office on Sunday. He said the meeting of the TNR had constituted a committee in the chairmanship of Liaquat Baloch, central secretary general JI to make contacts with various trader organisations across the country to launch countrywide protest demonstrations on December 31 for safeguarding the Blasphemy Law. The TNR leaders said on this occasion that the entire nation would took to the streets if the rulers tried to make any amendment in Blasphemy Law, as amending the Islamic Laws tantamount to promote sacrilegious trends in the country.
