KARACHI - Three persons were killed while a woman sustained serious burn injuries in separate incidents in the City on Friday. Korangi Industrial Area police on Friday found a dead body in a bag at Allahwalla Town near Korangi Darul Uloom. SHO of the Korangi Industrial Area Police Station, Abid Tanooli said severe torture marks were found on body. He said the victim was about 40-year-old. Unidentified persons kidnapped him and after brutal torture the victim was stabbed to death. A piece of rope was also tied to his neck, he added. He said the identity of victim could not be ascertained however the a had been registered against the assailants. Separately, a 25-year-old person was killed in firing while another sustained injuries at Liaqatabad near furniture market in the limits of Sharifabad police station. The dead body and injured were shifted to Abbassi Shaheed Hospital. Meanwhile, a 20-year-old youth, Farhan, was electrocuted at his house located at Jut Line in the limits of Brigade Police Station. The deceased received electric shock while working repairing a fan. In another incident, a 27-years old woman, Zara, received burn injuries at her residence located at Ali Akbar Shah Goth. The victim was rushed to Civil Hospital in critical condition. Her brother-in-law, Zainul Abideen, said Zara threw a burning matchstick near petrol stocked at the house which caught fire. The police officials said that doctors had termed her condition critical.
