OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Liaquat Baloch has said that the US slaves ruling the country were pursuing anti-Pakistan policies designed by the Zionist organisations that would deprive the masses of the last morsel of food. Addressing the JI monthly workshop at Mansoora on Sunday, he urged the people to stand by the JI to wipe out the corrupt rulers and a system steeped in corruption. Liaquat Baloch said that a war of civilizations was going on the globe and the enemies of Islam had ganged up against Islam and Pakistan. But unfortunately, he said, the Muslims world was being ruled by corrupt people who were slaves of the west. He said that price hike, unemployment and POL and gas crisis were the gifts of the IMF and the World Bank. The Pakistan government had neither a Minister for Finance nor for Foreign Affairs. He said the country was under foreign debt of 63 billion dollars that had been eaten up by the rulers in the name of the people. Inflation was on the rise and the entire system was based on exploitation. The affairs of the country could not be improved without demolishing the corrupt system and shaking the hold of a few families on the country. He said that protection of the corrupt rulers and implementation of the US policies was increasing the distance between the masses and the armed forces.
