The Taxila Cantonment Board will chalk out a multimillion development plan for provision of better civic facilities and improving living standard of the residents, living in non-military area of the garrison city during next fiscal year.

Briefing newsmen about the development package here, Cantt Executive Officer Syed Zaki Haider Rizvi said that as many as 15 different development projects worth over Rs105 million for provision of different facilities would be completed during the current fiscal year. He detailed that the projects included pavement of streets, roads, construction and improvement of drainage system, better sewage system, provision of streetlights, extension in heath and clean water facility and improving sports and co-circular activities in Cantt-run schools.

He informed that during the ongoing fiscal year, 42 different development projects had been completed at a cost of Rs73 million to provide different facilities to the residents.
