ISLAMABAD -The Project Management Institute (PMI), Islamabad chapter, has arranged its 146th event in Islamabad where the multiple services of its community members were highlighted. The PMI Islamabad Chapter focuses on project management education, member growth and corporate involvement. PMI reaches out to over 500,000 professionals in project, programme and portfolio management across the world.  Speaking on the occasion, chief guest Muhammad Ali Daha, MNA & Member of standing committee on foreign affairs & defense production, said that effective project management is need of the hour and a key of success for both private & public sector enterprises.

Wajeeh Anwar, Executive Vice President, PTCL, shared a detailed presentation with a caption of “Project Management in Modern Telecom Era”. He also answered the queries of participants in light of his vast telecom experience of two decades.

Syed Naveed Zafar, Deputy Director, Huawei, Zeeshan Jawaid, and IPC president also shared their views on the occasion.

Project Management (PM) as a discipline is increasingly recognized globally due to its vital importance and is making headway at the grass root level as a primary skill for the development and social projects.

The growing awareness of project management has led a number of organizations actively addressing planning & PM dimensions before launching themselves into medium to mega scale projects.
