Jamiat Ahle Hadith chief Senator Allama Sajid Mir on Sunday said that a major shift in foreign policy is needed for economic betterment and sovereignty of the county.

Addressing party’s executive committee meeting, he said that due to bad policies of former rulers, Saudi Arabia and China had distanced from Pakistan. He said that new government should have to take steps to get closer to the friends.

He expressed his hope that PML-N government would respect public mandate and would take steps to make the country an Islamic welfare state. 

Sajid Mir said that America’s determination of continuation of drone attacks for 20 years was an open terrorism.

He said that if the new govt could not stop drone attacks, the masses would lose their trust in it.

He said that drone attacks were against the charter of United Nations adding that drone attacks were a big reason of hate against America. –Staff reporter
