KARACHI The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, CIMA, conducted its second convocation in Pakistan here at local hotel, under the patronage of the Minister of Youth Affairs Syed Faisal Ali Subzwari with the guest of honour the Regional Director of CIMA Bradley Emerson, says a press release. The programme was themed Personal power Professional progress denoting the choice that one made to pursue the CIMA qualification which has given them an opportunity to choose an array of alternate careers. CIMA provides a solid base in management accounting which is multi-functional and relevant in any business scenario. This flexibility throws wide open the door for several opportunities and a wider spectrum of avenues of one could embark on. The Country head of CIMA in Pakistan Ms Javaria Hassan in her opening address congratulated the exams completed students on their success and commended prize winners who had excelled in their professional studies to achieve this outstanding performance. t was noteworthy that Pakistan had 3 world commendees for their performance at the Nov 2010 and May 2011 examinations.
