Federal police has arrested seven persons for their alleged involvement in kidnapping of a trader of Sector F-6/1, and keeping him 'chained in some area of Punjab while demanding Rs 5 million as ransom from the family members of the kidnapped man. The person who got kidnapped owns the well known Bengali Samosa shop in Farooqia market in F6, who was missing since 6th October, 2011. Police team started the probe and included the nephew and driver of the kidnapped person in the investigation process. During the preliminary investigation, they confessed before the police to abduct Allah Ditta (shopkeeper) for the sake of money along with their accomplices. This is indeed a sad incident but the police have been on the front foot and thanks to the police force for catching the culprits who were involved in this kidnapping case.
