QUETTA - Six students were killed and eight others critically wounded in a blast at a madrassa in Balayli here on Friday evening. According to details, six students were killed and eight others injured after an explosive device went off with huge explosion in Madrassa Shah Waliullah located at Killi Tarkhail nearby Balayli, some eight kilometers away from here. As a result, Syed Gul, Abdul Hali, Nasarullah, Juma Khan and two others were killed while Salauddin, Zahir, Mateullah, Ghulam Qadir and four others sustained serious injuries. The injured were rushed to Quetta Civil Hospital and Bolan Medical Complex Hospital. The sources said that a room where students were sitting was badly damaged due to heavy blast and two victims Abdul Ali and Nasarullah were killed on the spot and while the others were succumbed to their injuries on the way to hospital. Talking to the newsmen, DIG Operations Wazir Khan Nasar said that according to administration of Madrassa, the explosive material was hurled from outside Madrassa which exploded with big bang. However, he said that investigation was continuing and saying anything about it would be premature before the investigations are complete. On the other hand it has been said that deceased and injured belonged to Taliban organisation.  Soon after the blast law enforcement agencies rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area. However, nobody has been arrested so far. It may be recalled that it was second such incident in Madrassa prior to this eight students were also killed in Qilla Saifullah in blast in a Madrassa.
