LAHORE - PML-N Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has strongly demanded making public all agreements, which were inked with the US during eight-year rule of former President Pervez Musharraf. He was talking to media men here on Friday at the Allama Iqbal Airport after returning from UK and was accompanied by his wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz. He said that the nation has the right to know about all those Pak-US accords signed by the dictator. He further demanded that Parliament should take stock of such agreements to harmonise them in accordance with the wishes of the people. He stressed that the PPP-led govt must have clear-cut policies specially regarding security and economy to take the country out of the crisis. He termed the US raids inside Pakistan malicious. Responding to a question regarding efforts to dislodge the Punjab govt, he said that such attempts would be dashed to the ground and conspirators would lick their wounds. He said that PML-N govt in Punjab headed by Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif was safe and sound, saying those dreaming to destabilise it were living in a world of illusion. When asked about the PML-N strategy to form govt with PML-Q if PPP quits, he said that party did not intend to do so. 'If an alliance had to be forged with PML-Q, we would have formed it during Presidential election', he added. He described the reappointment of deposed judges as unfortunate. He said the way judges were being reappointed amounted to endorsing the dictatorial steps taken by Musharraf. He said that methodology adopted by the govt regarding judges issue would put negative effects over judiciary, Constitution and the country.
