KARACHI - In the face of ongoing wave of terrorism in the country, organisers of the Yaum-e-Ali (AS) procession have chalked out their strategy to thwart any untoward incident on this occasion to be observed on Monday, the 21st of Ramadan. Jaffaria Alliance Pakistan (JAP) will install more than 25 CCTV Cameras on the routes of the central procession of Yaum-e-Ali (AS) while leading organisations and scouts groups will depute more than 3,400 volunteers to perform security duty on this occasion. The central procession will be held on Monday, 21st Ramadan, at Nishtar Park where a huge congregation listen the Majlis, addressed by noted scholar Maulana Ali Murtaza Zaidi. Latter, the procession will start from Nishtar Park and, after passing through its traditional routes, will conclude at Hussainian Iranian Imambargah.  The procession will march through Britton Road, Shahrae Khurasan, M A Jinnah Road, Mansfield Street, Empress Market, Regal Chowk, Preedy Street, Bolton Market, Rampat Rai Road and Nawab Mahabat and Khanji Road. Sources told that due to the sanctity of the holy month of Ramadan and the ongoing dialogue with the government to restore normalcy in Kurram Agency (Parachanar), Imamia Students Organisation (ISO) and other bodies have decided to avoid any sit-in protest during the procession. The ISO had, earlier, announced to stage countrywide protest on 21st Ramadan during the processions to be held in connection with the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (AS) but cancelled its programme due to the ongoing violence in Kurram Agency. Central President ISO Arif Qanbri confirmed that due to the sanctity of holy month of Ramadan and the government's initiative to take the action against Taliban, they have decided to not stage the sit-in protest across the country during the central procession of the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (AS).   Meanwhile, Jaffaria Alliance Pakistan (JAP) has established "Azadari Cell" at Nishtar Park to monitor the procession of Yaum-e-Ali (AS) and would installed more than 22 Close Circuit Cameras along the routes of the central procession. JAP central additional secretary Shabbar Raza said that the central Azadari Cell has been established at Nishtar Park where the gatherings of Yaum-e-Ali (AS) Majlis would be hold and more than 22 CCTV cameras would also be installed there tomorrow. He said that Jaffaria Alliance, Imamia Students Organisation, Markazi Tanzeem-e-Aza, Imamia Scouts, Abu-Turab Scouts, Pak Hyderi Scouts, Abul-Hassan Scouts, Scout Rabita Council and other groups would provide more than 3,400 volunteers in order to thwart any untoward incident on the occasion. He said that government had not provided any security in this regard and the JAP would install CCTV cameras through its own resources while those provided by the official authorities proved faulty.
