This service currently offers mobile account holders three separate saving plans based on a set range of balance requirements: Bachat Plan A sets PKR 2500 as the minimum balance, which offers users an annual profit rate of 6%, Bachat Plan B has a minimum balance requirement of PKR 7,500 with an annual return of 7%, while Bachat Plan C offers an industry high annual return of 9% on a minimum balance of PKR 15,000. Bank Alfalah announces winner of Bank Alfalah’s Rising Talent Award

LAHORE (PR): Bank Alfalah has announces Hamza Bokhari as the new Bank Alfalah Rising Talent at the closing of the PFDC Bridal Week Saturday. Hamza received a cash award of half a million rupees from Aly Mustansir, Chief Marketing Officer, Bank Alfalah. Amidst the sorority of fashion lovers and designers, the Bank Alfalah Rising Talents Adnan Sarwar, Mohammad Rizwan, Anwer Aliand Hisham Malik –hailing from the fields of film, cricket and fashion respectively - were also present at the event to congratulate the new Bank Alfalah Rising Talent.

Hamza was amongst the four debut designers in bridal fashion exhibiting their collection for the first time at the PDFC Bank Alfalah Rising Talent Show.

The young talent rose to the challenge of designing one piece each inspired by Bank Alfalah’s brand personality. The winner was chosen through a transparent voting process of jurors and public.

Sabz Sitara inaugurates 4th signature clinic in Lahore

LAHORE (PR): Greenstar Social Marketing (Sabz Sitara) inaugurated its fourth Signature Clinic established in Lahore. The ceremony took place at Garhi Shahu where German Parliamentary Secretary Thomas Silberhorn inaugurated the clinic. The German delegation comprised of dignitaries from the Embassy. In this occasion, KfW was represented by Dr Masuma Zaidi, Head of Health Sector at KfW, Islamabad. These signature clinics are a part of Greenstar’s Chamakta Sitara project, funded by German government through KfW. The German delegation included the German Ambassador to Pakistan, Ina Lepel, and officials of the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development.

Silberhorn expressed the German government’s support for the Chamakta Sitara project and gave his heartiest congratulations to the management of Greenstar Social Marketing and Al-Haseeb Clinic.

He lauded the efforts of Greenstar for bringing about a positive change surrounding the previously considered taboo concept of Family Planning through such projects.

Beaconhouse launching short film competition

LAHORE (PR): Beaconhouse is launching the Beaconhouse Film Festival, a nationwide short film competition that will showcase the work of young, talented filmmakers between the ages of 12 to 18 years from across Pakistan. Open to all who wish to participate, the short film competition will offer the next generation of talented filmmakers a grand stage to screen their extraordinary creations, share their visionand interact with others who share their passion.

Planning, scriptwriting, shooting, editing and reviewing will be part of the final product and entries will be judged on these criteria. The submitted short films will be judged by renowned filmmakers and media personalities.

The winning films will be screened at the highly publicised Beaconhouse School of Tomorrow festivals in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad this November. Winners will also be awarded cash prizes of up to Rs 250,000.
